I didn’t think it was the best show. Getting a bit samey in terms of the dispay acts. Still not a bad day out though, disappointed the Canberra and Sea Hawk cancelled. Traffic was pretty busy when I joined the queue at 10 and took about half an hour to get in and parked. Was surprised with the queue to collect tickets. I paid at the gate and that queue was moving much quicker. Wouldn’t have been impressed if I was to collect them there.

Regarding people watching from the car park – I went over during the Pitts so I could make a sharp exit! You do get a very different view and a bit more room. Most people I saw did actually have their wristbands on. Some idiot started walking through the field though during the Hawk and it looks like he had a dog. Police tried to use an ineffectual loud haler which couldn’t really be made out over the Hawk!
