Yes, Tad (The Author) is a great guy. I met him a few years back when I had arranged to meet him and his private DC-3 near his home in Oregon. It’s such a coincidence that he was the chief pilot of the cow operation in Denmark back in the Sixties. I’m from Denmark and I’ve read and listened to stories about this adventure many times over the years… and then suddenly I pop into the guy who was the most involved person in that particular project. It’s a small world.

I can truly recommend the other books as well. They are all well written and gives the reader an instant feeling of what aviation could be like back in “the good ‘ol days”.
