Pay attention, it’s complicated, but by no means unusual!
All three are still flying, obviously G-BVWC at Coventry, and the other two in the States on photo recce lease work.
All three were used for research and trials work.
G-BVWC ex WK163 built as B.2 by Avro at Woodford, to Armstrong Siddely for well known engine (inc rocket) trials and record breaker. Its nose went to WT327 (below) in ’69, and it gained E.E.co produced B.6 XH568 nose.
N30UP ex WT327 built as second B(I).8 by E.E.co at preston, went straight into trials work, including B.P. and TSR.2. Fitted with Avro produced B.2 WK135 nose in ’69. Fitted with Avro produced B.2 WK163 nose in ’71.
N40UP ex XH567 built as B.6 by E.E.co at Preston, straight into RAE research work. Can’t find any sign of nose job, but almost certainly would have had rebuild (possibly at Woodford) at some stage.
