Thanks for the suggestions on chasing down the origin of the images which appear to be from an illustrated version the parts manual.

The Hurricane’s parts manual I have seen has line drawings in it, so I don’t believe that the images are from this manual.

I haven’t tried RAF Hendon, but thats a logical place to start. The “Aircraft Production” periodical sounds very interesting, I am very fascinated by seeing how aircraft were built (Even when they arn’t Hurricanes).

Dcollins103, thanks for suggesting I contact BAE Farnborough. Their website indicates they will be adding a Heritage section sometimes in 2007, I will look forward to seeing what they have!
