I had some correspondence with Neville in 83-4 and my impression was that he was not especially dismayed that CC had run its course.

I think he was not unhappy to be able to relinquish his long-running editorial duties, and pass on the toch to FlyPast, which had far more resourses to report and promote the vcintage ‘scene’.

Plenty of the contributors to CC are still around, such as Peter Arnold, Tim Badham, Stuart Howe and many others. I wonder where Malcolm Filmore ( Tiger Times) is now? It was a great little mag, with some really good material in, still worth looking at today.
