Minding my own business in our local garden centre at sunday lunchtime a loud noise distracted me from the dalias and I spotted what I’m sure was a Beaver climbing from about 2-300ft over hardingstone/wootton, northants –
Now I’m not sure that there are many Beavers flying in the UK, but it looked like it had just taken off- I am sure however that there isnt a strip in the village?

You don’t need an airstrip for a Beaver, that’s the glory of them, a postage stamp sized cow pasture is suddenly an airfield. 🙂
