I saw it happen – could have been a lot scarier – there were spectators standing a couple of metres away (getting the full Shackleton experience 🙂 ) from where the Ikarus was taxying. If the Ikarus had a little bit less forward velocity (which took it clear of the Shack’s prop wash after the initial incident) – I think there may have been a chance of it being flung into the spectators.

Won’t stop me taking up that position in the future though – there is something about being sandblasted by R – R’s finest that makes the experience worthwhile!
