Why don’t you try the Imperial War Museum directly? They may be very grateful for the publicity, but do bare in mind they have their own website already.

It is worth noting that there are a lot of private collections at the museum and it is not unusual for the owners to want to keep their affairs private. Anyone who publishes information on them without the owners’ authorisation is either brave or stupid.
