Syrian army needs a lot of BMPTs in their assault units to support their tanks to fight effectively to gain ground and wipe out the well armed & funded Islamic scumbags.

When it gets real tight, TOS-1 would be the most useful stuff to flatten the area. It is going to have a good impact on the fighting spirit of the Islamic scumbags.

They need to equip their tanks with add-on urban warfare kits at the earliest. But the first they can do now to avoid sacrificing their tanks & crews to Islamic fighters is to take out all the free laying ammo out of the tank hull and carry only those permitted by the auto-loader. It would be much safer. The video of the Syrian army tank being attacked and blowing up reminds me of the bloody Chechan war. This is evolving/has already evolved to be the 3rd true urban combat where the opponents is well armed, funded and – internationally – supported Islamic terrorists unlike the dis-organized and unsupported elements we saw in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Russia needs to play an active role in eliminating these terrorists. When Lybian war was going on Syria was mentioned as the next stop, if they are not eliminated in Syria, their next stop will be cacasus!
