Personal responsibility – nothing to do with the ‘authorities’

In the bits that I read, I didn’t get the impression that there was much ‘slaving’ going on. It looked – as much as anything – that it was ‘slaving’ by at least some degree of consent.

Consent is a strange word,if you are not in a position of knowing any better or somehow being so unaware of how to oppose by the way you are being brainwashed into dependency then it can be seen as a passive consent.
I would imagine all the people concerned were not in a full mental capacity of a normal human being.
