Is Deep Purple still popular in the UK? They go somewhat unnoticed I think compared to the other hard rock acts of the 60s and 70s…some brilliant stuff though.

I saw them with a friend of mine many years ago and they were brilliant but they were so loud my mate actually walked out.I did have to agree with him because the music is very musical [ LOL] and they didn’t need it so loud.
Led Zepp and the Rolling Stones always a must for me ,Sympathy for the Devil ,paint it black and the drum solo Moby Dick from John Bonham.
