She has no PPL.
These prices seem extremely reasonable (I know running costs of jets). I was expecting £2000 for 15 mins or similar.
I presume all have disarmed ejector seats?
So, if bang-out is not an option, it’s curtains if there is a problem?
I’d hate to lose the best woman in the world. Especially on her birthday.
It is a few years since I was there but looking at the costs for training seem about the same – they are offering 2 hours aerobatic training in a Fouga Magister for $2,750 which is about £1,700.
The seats aren’t live but you do get to wear a chute.
The L39 is very like the Hawk with a raised back seat so she would have a good view of everything.
Santa Fe is an interesting place to visit but only for a day or so – I combined my visit with a trip to Florida then flew across country for a couple of days flying.
An alternative which is just as much fun is take her on holiday to Florida and whilst there go to Warbird Adventures at Kissimee:

Here she can fly in a Harvard for half the price of a UK flight and again its from the front seat even if she dosent have a PPL. The aircraft are fully equipped with Videos and Cameras so you would have a lasting memory of the experience and if you didnt want to be left out you could go up with her in another Harvard – they had 3 the last time I was there.
Good Luck
