I was thinking more about flight performance of the ‘B’ variant, which isn’t that impressive to say the least – limited G for a start, not actual cross section. But, that’s another story not for this thread.

The F-35B clearly is better performing than the Hornet or Super Hornet. As for “G” it’s only limited in peace time to extend the hours of service. Yet, like you said that another story……….
