The question of trust is a different matter, the fact is simple, British defence spending has been slashed for years, anyone who pledges to increase it has my vote.

Blair says one thing and does another, e.g. he says he is “spending £2bn more” infact he is spending £2bn more and asking for £3bn in savings, so i think he is actually in real terms reducing budget.
