Can’t really help you with the 1/48 scale kit of the Mark 8, but I am planning to build a few 1/72 kits for sale over the coming months. I am not the world’s best modeller, but if you are interested, they will have custom paint jobs and decals to make them a little more than out of the box Frog kits. I’ve done one recently (88 Sqn) to give you an idea. VX185 is next. You can see the 88 sqn bird here:
