Could it be a distraction for some pilots and or dangerous with possible reflecting light on approach?

I think the Blue Angels for example are partly guided by a member of the team holding a mirror on the ground (reflecting the light) to help guide them back to the airfield or guide the display area. As well as using ground ‘marks’ such as hedges, roads, or even a field that looks a bit different from other fields.
