Excellent report and some great shots, too. It’s a pity that the longer leg of the trip wasn’t a little more enjoyable.

When I saw your shot of your seat, I noticed that it looked quite narrow. Then I saw the shot of the cabin and the 3-4-3 economy layout, which I understand is not the ‘norm’ for this type of aircraft. I am flying with Emirates on Friday evening and have two flights on their 777s; -200 and -300ER. I know they are renowed for squeezing an extra seat in, which I am sure will make it quite an uncomfortable couple of flights!
