Sorry but you’re contradicting yourself. On one hand you’re saying it’s the standard thing to check in two hours before unless you are checking in online or are flying long haul, then on the other you said that you knew that not all airlines operated to the two hour restriction.

Had I intended to say all flights check in two hours prior to departure, I would have used the word, all. The word standard implies it’s very much normal, not absolute. There is a difference.
My words:
“when that’s very much the standard most flights work on unless you’re on a long haul or use self check in!”
Meaning that desk check in opening two hours prior to departure is normal for most short or medium haul flights. I didn’t say all. Check in for the majority of the 60 or so flights I do per year opens two hours before departure, although there is the odd exception, which I never denied.
Why do you feel the need to constantly respond almost aggressively as soon as anyone even comes close to disagreeing with you? :confused:
