Helen is her lovely self and coming to the end of a fantastic but knackering season with the Utt Butt’s. Finally I am recuperating after an unprecedented avalanche of electronic responses to EASA, EUROCONTROL and the EU in respect of consultation on measures surely designed to put general aviation out of the aviation business. The latest is the CAA position paper on SES that, in the charging scheme area, makes no reference to GA at all. This totally ignores the fact that, at the moment, GA aircraft grossly outnumber CAT (commercial air transport -you know, Aircoach and Boinggggg thingies that chuck out more greenhouse gases than the worlds f**ting bovine population does). Ah well, tempus fugit and I have to get off to the Sywell airshow press day in the rain.
