So – stupid question time… Is our current horrid weather down to the first hurricane a few weeks ago? Hurricane Alex wasn’t it? Am I right in assuming that weather systems track up the east coast of the US then accross the pond to hit the UK in much tamer form?

If that’s the case, we have Frances on the way and Ivan in about 4 – 6 weeks..
