Thanks 27vet for the technical explanation. If it is ‘almost’ as good as paint, it is interesting why it is not used more commonly (having said that perhaps it is, but it is difficult if not impossible to tell).

usaf2103, think they still do have the 732s in the fleet. Can imagine that flying on them would be an interesting experience. I assume this 737 will be replacing one though.
