Alex – Haha, well ten years ago I was spending most of my weekend there! If you do a search on A.net you’ll find some of my first photos from STN in ’98 and ’99. It’s sad how the times (and airlines and aircraft) move on though I’ll always be grateful that someone invented the digital camera!

Dan – Yes that’s the one, it’s the big mound on the other side of the hedge directly opposite the entrance to the Hilton. It’s got a great view of the 05 threshold as you can see. Parking is a real hassle but I think the Hilton gives you an hour free before the charges start to rack up. And for what it’s worth, its one of the few places around STN that I’ve never been stopped! Check it out again if you can 🙂
