The VC10 looks good because it was designed to do so. Very especially the “Whale tail”.

These days, the chase for absolute aerodynamic efficiency means that all the big jets look like they come out of the same jelly mould. The aerodynamic lines are CAD-CAM’d for the given platform.
The only design elements that can be “Personalised” are the shape of Cockpit Windows, leading edge of the fin. Nose (Blunt or pointy!).
