I also think that FRA would have been better , I have heard not so good things about LH economy to india from co-workers who have used it . Although LH has huge operations into india and out of india they IMHO will find it very hard to compete with a 9w at this stage . If i was 9W i would use the T-7’s as non-stop direct to the US east coast , and use the 330’s for feeder traffic to BRU (if BRU is needed at all) . Some cities can be more profitable covered by Non-stop flights and with the indian economy steaming ahead i bet the traffic specially the high paying buisness and first would only increase between city pairs such as BOM-JFK , DEL-JFk/EWR etc with there product they can clean the competition which exists now . I would buy 748 and use it on the shanghai-Sanfan,shanghai-LAX route (again 9w can dominate on this route given the current competition) and use 330’s for feeder traffic to there !!

As far as IT , it would be interesting to see what they do with there A380’s , First guess would be BOM-LHR and DEL-LHR..Can these routes sustain such huge capacity expansion ? Responding by adding 380 or 748 to that route (for competitors like 9w and AI) wont be too smart as it will only be worst for everybody , i think that they would up frequency and keep the high paying pax happy .
