You are quite bcorrect..the scheme on the plane is the “Dreamliner” scheme..not the traditional Boeing prototype colors…
So it’s notthe prototype…but that does beg the question what was the 767 doing in the 787 program and why did they scrap it?

Well I guess they used a 767 in ‘Dreamliner’ livery to perhaps prove a plane in that livery can actually fly. Boeing engineers are now blaming the livery for all of the 787 delays and considering a mass purchase order for the world’s largest can of ‘matte white’

The alternate opinion is that the 787 programme is really just an excuse to keep the 767 line open… 😉
