The story hasn’t been played up much here in the Evergreen state.
You can bet union leaders and state officials…who have long seen Boeing as a cash cow and source of lots of union (Democratic party) votes. The state spends far more than it takes in and Boeing money…is needed.

The larger issue is what will happen when Boeing establishes a second 787 line in SC.
