GB Airways is a totally separate company to BA, but operate under a franchise arrangment. This means that GB Airways have to paint their aircraft in BA colours, and oeprate a near identical BA product on board. In return they get access to the BA reservation system (notably ba.com) and get an increased level of marketing they otherwise wouldnt get.
