I don’t see what the big deal is? The crew get to go straight in to Longhaul on the A380 and with regards to hours, that translates to 1 return pattern a week roughly in an 8 week bid period. I have a 240 hour cap and I am on 1 return pattern a week with 26 days off including a block of 7 days off in March; in fact, when I got my roster, it only had 170 hours on it so I chose to add extra trips on there. I couldn’t be happier, pay is great, morale is high and the company look after us.
