If it was me, I would be wanting to try and get on an aircraft type/model I have not been on before or even just to make sure the overall experience of on-board service, comfort, IFE etc was good for that type of flight.

Tommy, you are the rarest of the rare, an airline customer in the western world who actually looks beyond ticket price.

I think you may find that for the general public that is the case, however omn a personal choice thats not my thought process.. take a read of the trip report section for some prime examples of mileage running and flights on certain AC.

Tommy, If i was you…. I would want to go with the 747, however with the recent BA strikes… i would choose another airline at this moment in time…Maybe the Virgin would be a good option…
