Leeds Bradford Airport is pleased to announce a new destination for this winter: The Gambia.
The Leeds Bradford to Banjul service will commence on Wednesday 20 December 2006 and weekly departures will continue throughout the season with Astraeus Airlines until Wednesday 28 February 2007.

The appeal of The Gambia is simple; less than a six-hour flight away, in the same time zone and with no jet lag, the holidaymaker is welcomed by glorious sunshine – averaging 31 degrees year round, vast golden beaches, friendly English speaking locals, a varied and mouth-watering cuisine and a vibrant, authentic African culture.

The new route is being offered in conjunction with the leading specialist to the destination, The Gambia Experience. The tour operator features a wide portfolio of accommodation, reflecting how The Gambia is excellent value for money, and exclusively offers holidays to deluxe properties such as the award-winning Mandina Lodges at Makasutu and Ngala Lodge, a former colonial mansion.
