I think that SQ will defintely go in for the A350X in the future , However they have 787’s on order and if they like the 787-10 ( When and not If…..) then they would limit the A350’s to the bigger -1000’s to eventually start taking over the T7 routes in the future however the 1000 is post 2014 IIRC so they have plenty of time to order .
