A346’s would be taken up by Phillipine airlines order for some long range jets

That PAL order was miniscule as compared to the no. of jets that EK had on order . What could have happened was that EK asked Airbus to back off on the Cancellation clause from the 340 deal to compensate for the 380 delays !!
