Hi everyone, this is my first post as a new member so please accept my apologies if you spot any mistakes!!

Nice to see those BHX snaps – I was a regular at the airport for many years, mainly sitting at the end of the runway in Sheldon Country Park!!

I’m glad AI are using 777’s – This is good news as this heralds an important airline to the airport. I’m sure some of you may remember that AI used to fly 707’s into the airport many years ago but pulled out not all that long before the new airport terminal was opened in 1984. Given that EK are switching the daily 777 to a twice daily A330-200, it is nice to know that we are still getting at least another 777 operator in!!

I would have loved to have seen the EK 773 that has been into BHX recently – Who says BHX cannot handle big jets!!

Now, if only BA pull their finger out and get rid of those RJ100 things – I long for the days when the apron was full of their BAC 1-11’s and not forgetting the 732’s they used in the early to mid 90’s!!
