Ah well I used SDQ a few years ago and will be using POP (Puerto Plata) this summer and was just wondering if flights still use SDQ. So guesing its just Punta cana, Puerto Plata and La Romana for charters in the Dominican Republic?

I’ve been to Puerto Plata twice now (once with Monarch, once with jmc) and its a nice airport. I’ve also been to La Romana with Britannia and that is one great little airport. Its so tiny and I remember it only having enough space for two or three large jets at any one time. The terminal is very small and wooden, although it looks very nice and new from the outside. The departure lounge has one small shop and a coffee shop.
