I have no doubt it will be quite economical. The volume of traffic would definately justify it. Try getting a seat on the DEL-CMB flights at short notice! There are several short haul routes that already have 777s and 330s flying on them in Asia.

Remember that SQ operates hourly B777s on the 55 minute SIN-KUL route and 2:30 hr SIN-BKK route, so really its a question of demand. Also on alternate days UL flies A330s on the DEL-CMB route.

P.S> I haven’t flown DEL-MEL in over a year – has SQ upgraded any a/c on the route with space bed yet?

Hmm ok i agree with you there…… but personally i dont think it will be a wise choice for 9W. 🙂
