EAL about the flying over Manhatten, i know a privet jet pilot, who flies for JetNets told me that back in the early 90’s he was flying into JFK and had to circle, and he asked if he could fly over Manhatten, and they let him 🙂

And wasn’t there a Continental plane carrying troops home from the Gulf recenty that did a low pass up the Hudson, scaring the s*it out of the public and authorities as ATC hadn’t told anyone about it.
