Hi,
Hey we also stayed at this hotel and as T5 states, it is very nice. Part of the hotel which had just been finished was then destroyed on 9/11. After the re-build which finished around spring/summer 2002 they finally opened for business. The hotel is attatched to 16 screen cineplex, massive gym, and 5 or 6 restaurents, and it’s next to a mall. Plus you can also walk to the Staten Island Ferry & State of Liberty/Ellis Island boats.
Hotel is situated on 123 North End Avenue, Lower Manhatten.
Cool! I understand it had not been open for long since the attacks on the World Trade Center when we visited. Obviously being virtually next door, the damage was bad. I think it was shut for a good 9 months.
It’s a great hotel, I have to agree! 🙂
