Yes Dave I did see it. Flew over at least 7-8 times. Unfortunately I was unable to ID it. The aircraft though was a Cessna 441 Conquest, Im almost certain of this.

I think it was taking pictures for Ordinance survey or something along those lines.

Sorry I cant be of more help… but yes I did see it… Blimming noisey thing!
