ErrolC, the ‘other’ F2b that went to OZ is in fact a modern replica built by a current forum member and powered by a Fairchild Ranger engine. To see that builders’s current work, look up the Bristol Bulldog thread.
There is at least one other F2b being finished based upon one of the fabled barn find fuselages. That will be powered with a 300 Hisso.
