Paul is so right. Perhaps you will be willing to contact someone via PM (private mail, I think it is?), so that it can stay out of the public forum. You’ll find that you will be afforded the respect you wish, should you go the PM route.

I can guarantee you, though, that to go public with the simple details of name and service number means that even more readers will see fit to spend time easing you down the road of discovery. People spark off of other people’s research, and a lot can be uncovered very fast. The Internet will be your friend.

From what others have already posted, it is obvious that with a name and service number some more basic help will be handed to you on the proverbial silver platter.
