Sorry to drag up an old Auster thread. But I was wondering if anyone out there has come across any of these Amber screens for an Auster AOP-6 or T7??

The parts above seem to me to be AOP-9 as they part numbers don’t match my numbers for AOP-6/T7. I am rebuilding T7 WE552 (ex RHKAAF) to stock military configuration as she has never been civilianised and carries the remains of the Night simulation brackets. There is also a bag to stow the screens and another to stow the goggles. ANY help at all to make this rebuild to fly more authentic would be hugely appreciated.

The part number ranges I have is in the ‘H’ range, like HC 1935-4 etc, there are also part number refs for ‘HB’ & ‘HD’ series.

Maybe you have some of these old screens kicking about your shed or hangar or know someone who has. If so I would love to hear from you. Even if it is to borrow to copy and return. I would pay for all costs to do this.

So maybe someone out there can help an old Auster T7 out……..
