Indeed P2902 rings a bell to me,

here attached a local newspaper showing a picture of the wreck; Article dated 1990 and mentionning that it was found on the beach at Ghyvelde 3 years ago;

In another article, it is mentioned that the pilot was identified and came from Australia to see his machine: his name was Kenneth Mac Glashan.
