They were restoring two Lysander : one static in yellow/black target tug scheme, for the Army Air Museum of Brussels and their own flying one after its emergency landing accident in 2011.
In fact, the flying one was provided by the Army Museum in the 80’s with an agrement that when the plane will be grounded, it will come to the Museum for static display.
After the accident the association decided to acquire an other wreck in Canada and restore it for static display to be free of the agremment with the Museum and been allowed to restore the flying one.
Last information in 2010, the plane was “complete” with engine runs peformed, but since thant I was unnable to gain any information.
I visited them in 2003 or 2004 in their previous hangar in Brussels airport and saw the two Lysanders and their Lodestar awaiting restoration.

I will be happy to have recent news : this team did an incredible work restoring this plane, and had a few setbacks: the engine incident with the subsecent landing accident, the banckrupt of the Sabena (they have to fight to avoid the plane to be seized), they lost their hangar, etc

Hi Mark, we do not plan anything, the reason we apply for tyre fitting Lysander and we just find the good size and now we have to test them for our DGTA. Second reason since last year we can not anymore do our carburetor and magneto here in Brussels so we send it to Vintech. We expect the test flight as soon we ready, normally mid year. Any way I will advice all our friend and supporter of our association in time. Thanks any way for your desire to see our plane in the air again. Best. Dany
