This has been discussed time and again without any final conclusion that satisfies everyone, partly because different prints show different colours, particularly for the area around the cockpit which should be Dark Green in by far the most common of patterns. My (and others’) interpretation is that this aircraft was originally in Dark Green – looking brown in this printing – and Mixed Grey, with replacement panels in fresh Ocean Grey. Edgar Brooks has seen the original and states that it is in Dark Green and Dark Earth. Edgar is a highly reputable reporter.
