These were not an RAF bay service item and would go back to the OEM (Dunlop), and I have not seen any Dunlop parts diagrams for their stick tops.
I have a few B.1 grips so may be able to answer any questions about them, alternatively Rocketeer has refurbished a scrappy B.1 grip IIRC so he may also be able to help.
As a rule, the switches are held in either with ‘drift pins’ which need tapping out with a punch (or suitably sized nail will do!), or sometimes a long thin screw where a pin couldn’t be drifted out and the heads and tails of these are covered up with a hard wax, but you can usually work out where they are in relation to any switch. If it’s the ‘flip up’ covers, then these are held in IIRC with tiny cir clips on the end of the pin. If it’s something else, ask away and someone can perhaps help.
