Shackleton WR963 – Shackleton Preservation Trust.
Nimrod XV232 – Air Atlantique
DC6 (G-SIXC) Diner – Coventry Airport

We (SPT) never intended for WR963 to move if the airport were happy for her to stay. It serves our purpose better for the moment that she stay in Coventry as there are less logistical issues for us.

We have been asked to look after the Nimrod alongside our Shackleton as the move was rumoured to cost around £750k for it to go south – and after the support we have had over the years from Air Atlantique as a whole it seemed churlish and slightly wrong to refuse doing them and preservation a good turn.

I understand the DC6 Diner is now airport owned/run and will be staying, though may move position slightly if some of the redevelopments encroach on it.
