Hi Andy

Good to here from you, and thanks for getting back to us.

As you know Aviation has over the years brough both Max and myself a great deal of fun. So this year we have decided to do something a little different. Through out 2014 we will be displaying our little Chipmunk cockpit section at selected events, and we will be an official sponsor of the Leicester Hospitals Charity http://www.leicestershospitals.nhs.u…s-raise-funds/ and in particular the Childrend Heart Unit at Glenfield Hospital.

Over the years we as a family have much to thank the University Hospitals of Leicester for, so it seem fitting that we give them a little support in return. So, at various events through out 2014 we will be displaying our little treasure, and displaying our support for the charity. This will basicaly meen we will be asking for a few coins in a collection box from those who might wish to support us, whilst having a bit of fun sitting in the old girl.

Although we are still firm supporters of Nev Martin and his Phoenix Aviation Museum and we still support the LPG and others in some small ways, we have not been to Bruntingthorpe at all for several years now, and are not sure how welcome we might be there. But we are considering the possibility of displaying our Chipmunk at some events there this year. That is why I want to make contact, but have lost track of who is who these days!!

Ritch and Max Blood.

Rich and Max,
Yeh like wise, no problem.

Nothing has changed in the LPG since you were last up at the Q shed, most people you knew up there are still around, few more areos around, but pretty much the same, we still go on a Saturday, both jets and the shed need our constant attention.
As far as we in the LPG are concerned you and Max are more than welcome any time, and Im sure DW will welcome you and the Chippy cockpit with open arms.
Give DW a call re the CWJs days and as far as Im concerned come along to our July day, you remember the score ? Just turn up on the Saturday, prep what ever you have and wait for the Sunday and the public to arrive, simple really;)

PM me if you need anymore info

Regards
