Connie display

Well when the last connie appeared at cosford i was listening to the tower on my trustee airband receiver, the connie skipper who had just completed two runs up and down cosfords flightline said he had plenty of fuel and didnt mind doing a few more turns and topside views but the cosford controller replied negative as he had another act in the holding spot over some local reservoir i believe? i couldnt believe he denied a longer display of such a rare visitor to these shores to bring on a spotty jet provost from memory? These ATCs have a lot to answer for!:confused:
