Heres some more pictures of the turret from when i started , the rebuild of the gunners seat kindly supplied by Fred Bieser along with the ammo boxes and support rail .

Unfortunately the seat was in a terrible state so i carefully drilled out  the spot welds , made a new skin and riveted the seat back together as i dont possess a spot welder.

The side panels , foot rest , armour plate brackets , gun shutters and a lot of other usefull stuff came from the Canadian museum of aviation in exchange for my Lancaster tail turret parts to help them with their restoration………..happy days !
