On the subject……

While on the subject of odd old tyres, I was recently asked to track down a tyre to fit a 2 inch diameter tailwheel. Width across the tailwheel is also 2 inches, and the tyre itself must have maximum diameter of 7 inches. Odd sizes I know, but that’s what will fit.

If anyone has a garage full of really odd old tyres, perhaps you could grab a tape measure?!
